This matt silver metal frame is really understated but really effective, as the brush metal effect is shaded gently into the raised border and then into the corners near the aperture. This gives it a 'grungy' feel and makes it ideal for a loft flat or warehouse conversion. It takes a 6x4 inch photograph in either landscape or portrait format and as the edge of the frame is nearly an inch and a half wide, it makes a dramatic impact for the photo inside. The raised inner border has small vertical and horizontal stripes and then the brushed aluminium effect is continued to the glass in the aperture. The edge is also bevelled so almost looks like a double frame edge. The photograph is easily fitted into the back of the frame by sliding off the velvet back and the strong strut means that the frame is held in place, whether it is upright or in landscape mode. The Genua frame hangs in portrait mode only, from a strong metal ring which is attached to the back and it measures approximately 8.5 x 6.5 inches overall.
