This shiny silver metal frame makes a real impact and takes a 6x4 inch photograph in either landscape or portrait mode. The edge is nearly an inch and a half wide with a vertical raised inner border to give added interest. The plain glossy silver effect finish is carried on to the edge of the aperture, giving the frame a balanced feel and it is slightly bevelled, which focuses the eye onto the image inside. The photograph is easily fitted into the back of the frame by sliding off the velvet back and the strong strut means that the frame is held in place, whether it is upright or in landscape mode. The Genua frame hangs in portrait mode only, from a strong metal ring which is attached to the back. It measures approximately 8.5 x 6.5 inches overall.
